Lambs Byrne-t By 10-Man Harriers: Harriers 2-2 Tamworth

A last minute goal from Jack Byrne saved a point for Harriers who had Mark Albrighton sent-off in a lively derby game.

Steve Burr made a number of changes to the team that was defeated at Newport on Saturday; Lee Morris, Jack Byrne, Mark Albrighton and Chris McPhee all came back into the starting line-up.  Harriers gave a much better performance than they had in South Wales with Morris and Marc Williams looking threatening in attack.

Williams was the architect for the opening goal setting up skipper Keith Briggs for his first goal in a Harriers shirt three minutes before the break.  The advantage was short-lived, however, as Kyle Perry headed in the equaliser in the last minute of the half.

Harriers suffered a set-back on 73 minutes when Albrighton was shown his second yellow card of the afternoon and sent-off.  Five minutes later Perry fired the visitors ahead and all of Harriers' hard work looked set to be in vain.  In the last minute, however, Byrne was on hand to head in Mike Williams' cross and earn Harriers their first home point of the season.
