Harriers Lay Out Welcome Matt For Jamille

Promising striker Jamille Matt has joined from Sutton Coldfield Town adding further competition for places in the squad.

The 21-year-old has worked his way through from the Youth Team at Coles Lane, forcing his way into the first team where he has now made 108 appearances and scored 36 goals, most recently a hat-trick in Sutton's 7-2 win over Goole at the weekend.  He also scored against Harriers in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Aggborough last week.

He joins the club on non-contract terms with the opportunity to prove himself and earn a more permanent position.  Speaking to the Official Website, Harriers boss Steve Burr said, "We have been watching him over a number of weeks - he has the experience of knowing how physical non-league football can be.  He is a big, strong unit and has pace to burn and he'll come in now and grasp this opportunity."
