Silkmen Youngster Bolsters Squad
Steve burr has raided one of his former clubs to bring in defender-cum-midfielder Matt Lowe on loan from Macclesfield for the rest of the season.
With Tom Sharpe's dislocated knee set to keep him out for most, if not all, of the rest of the season Lowe will provide vital cover for the defensive unit of the squad.
The 20 year-old has come through the ranks at Moss Rose, but has only made a handful of appearances, starting just seven games and making a further four from the bench. This season he has only managed to make one sub appearance.
His preferred position is right back, but he can play elsewhere in the defence and also in midfield; he is also reported to be something of a long throw specialist, which as Crawley showed earlier this week, can be a useful tactic.
Speaking to the Harriers' Official Website, manager Steve Burr said of his new signing, "He is in position where he isn't certain as to whether he'll be offered something at Macclesfield for next season so this is a good opportunity for him to come and impress here."
