Harriers Rumble On: Grimsby Town 3-3 Harriers
A hat-trick from Matty Blair, his first in a Harriers shirt, helped Harriers to twice come from behind to earn a second successive 3-3 draw.
On a glorious afternoon Harriers put in another good performance, making their hosts look very ordinary in the early stages of the game; Harriers looking like a team that was 13 undefeated while Town looked like a team five without a win.
The Mariners took the lead against the run of play, however, Mark Hudson hitting a great strike from 25 yards out on 24 minutes. Harriers came back at the home team and drew level after 32 minutes, Blair firing in his first. Blair then headed Harriers ahead a minute before the break.
Grimsby looked better after the break and levelled the scores through Alan Connell's overhead kick on 56 minutes. Lee Peacock then headed Grimsby in front six minutes later and with sixteen minutes left Michael Leary had a goal ruled out for offside. Blair lashed in his third to level the scores again with seven minutes to go, his tenth goal of the season and his fifth against Grimsby.
