Aggborough Return For Langmead

Gary Whild continues to build for the new season by bringing in Kelvin Langmead on loan from Ebbsfleet United.

Langmead featured for Harriers in the 2004-05 season on loan from Preston, making 11 appearances and scoring one goal.  Back then he was a striker but has since been converted to a central defender in a career that has seen him rack up over 300 appearances.

After his spell with Harriers he had a brief loan spell with Shrewsbury before making the move permanent in December 2004.  He spent six seasons with The Shrews, making over 250 appearances; then had a season with Peterborough before moving to Northampton Town in the summer of 2011.

Three-and-a-half seasons with Northampton saw him clock up another 102 appearances before he finally moved to Ebbsfleet in Conference South in order to get some game time after injury.

His latest loan will see him spend the whole of the coming season at Aggborough.
