Winger Dawson Added To Squad

Harriers have announced the signing of trialist Adam Dawson to go with yesterday's addition of Dean Snedker.

Winger Dawson has quickly endeared himself to Harriers fans with some exciting performances in friendlies and is clearly the kind of player that people pay to watch.

Despite being just 23 years old he has packed in quite a lot to his career; beginning in the academy at his home-town club Bury he moved to Liverpool when he was just 15 for a fee of £100000.  When his apprenticeship at Anfield ended he returned to Bury before moving to Wigan Athletic for his first pro contract.

A loan spell at Accrington Stanley saw him make his senior debut before leaving Wigan in 2012.  A series of moves around non-league clubs in the north west saw him give service to Bacup Borough, FC United, Barrow and Nelson.  The following year he was picked up by Leicester City and last season he had loan spells with Notts County, Nuneaton Town and Bristol Rovers where he played a big part in their run towards the play-offs.

His successful trial spell with Harriers has earned him a contract that will keep him at Aggborough for the coming season.
