Harriers Dealt Dawson Blow

Adam Dawson has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan, dealing another blow to Harriers.

The winger, who has been one of Harriers' better performers so far this season, has joined Rovers until December to allow him to be closer to home as he has personal issues to deal with.

Speaking to the club's official website Dawson said, "I really like it here and get on well with everybody but there are things that I need to get straightened out and it has been difficult being quite a way away from home and doing a lot of travelling".

Gary Whild said, "Adam is a talented lad, that’s why we brought him here but, unfortunately, sometimes in football it isn’t just the 90 minutes you see of a player on a Saturday.  He has other things to deal with at the minute and, in all fairness to the club, they’ve been very helpful in assisting the lad at a difficult time.  He’s been very mature in how he has communicated and it is a no-brainer at the minute that he needs to be in a different situation and we’ve had to try and help that and make it happen".

So far in his brief Harriers career he has made eight appearances, scoring one goal.
