Preview: Guiseley v Harriers
Harriers head to Yorkshire this evening to take on Guiseley and look to get a first win for new manager Jimmy Shan.
Currently Harriers are seven without a win and have just one win in the last twelve, a run that has seen them slip[ down the table to their current position of 19th, six points above the relegation zone. In a glass-half-full type of scenario, though, six points is the distance to tenth.
Manager Shan may have to be without key players again as Ashley Hemmings was added to the list of injuries during Saturday's defeat by Boston. He joins Richard Peniket and Ed Williams on the 'doubtful' list. Skipper Cliff Moyo will be lining up against his former club tonight.
Guiseley also are not enjoying great form at the moment; they have two wins in their last ten and haven't won at home in the league since mid-September. Manager Russ O'Neil may be without leading scorer Aaron Martin who picked up an injury in the weekend defeat to Brackley but can include Scott Garner who was sent off iin the same game. Former Harrier Kennedy Digie could feature for the home side facing off against his brother Dennis whou could be anomgst the Harriers subs.
Last season this fixture ended in a goalless draw. Harriers do not have a good record against Guiseley with one win and three defeats from the five games played/
I expect Harriers to line-up as follows (5-2-2-1); Mannion; Austin, Davidson, Moyo, R. Williams, Johnson; Butterfield, Prosser, Weeks, Shenton; Chambers.
Subs (from): Diau, Digie, Neligwa, Palmer, Taylor-Randle
Missing (injured): Hemmings, Peniket, E. Williams.
Missing (on-loan): Higginson, White.
This evening's referee will be James Westgate from Durham. This will be his first time in charge of a Harriers game.
The weather looks grim during the game with a 90% chance of rain at kick-off time and a temperature around 7°C.
