Match Report by St@tto

Amari Morgan-Smith struck again as Harriers recorded their first win in seven games.

The striker needed just 45 seconds to fire Harriers ahead, turning in Adrian Cieslewicz's cross, to record his third goal in two games - in little over half an hour, in fact.

Morgan-Smith's return to the starting line-up, along with Jack Byrne, in place of the ineffective Freddie Ladapo and Santiago Aloi were the only changes to the side that had drawn 2-2 with Braintree at the weekend.

Harriers were more lively in going forward than they had been in recent matches but were still not firing on all cylinders.  The visitors didn't let them have it all their own way and could have levelled the scores on 18 minutes when Jack Marriott lobbed wide when left in acres of space on the Woking right.

Late in the half Harriers had good chances to increase their lead when first Anthony Malbon set up Cieslewicz who saw his shot saved by Aaron Howe and then Danny Jackman fired a 20 yard free-kick over the bar.

Morgan-Smith tried his luck with a free-kick just before the hour mark but his shot also went over the bar.  Eventually, though, Harriers managed to get a free-kick on target, skipper Kyle Storer bending his shot around the wall and beyond the reach of Howe to double the advantage on 68 minutes.

In the closing stages of the game Harriers pressed to make the game safe; inside the last ten minutes Morgan-Smith had shot saved; Cieslewicz was denied by a double save from Howe and Malbon headed against the post from Callum Gittings' cross.
