Match Report by St@tto

Harriers came from behind to grab a share of the points at play-off bound Halifax.

The game got off to a nightmare start for Harriers falling behind to Josh Wilson's header after just 59 seconds, climbing at the far post to meet Adam Smith's cross from the right.

Gary Whild had made several changes to the side that was held to a goalless draw by Nuneaton in the previous game, bringing in Aman Verma for his first start along with Amari Morgan-Smith and skipper Kyle Storer.

It was players who had kept their place in the side who combined to bring Harriers level just before the half-hour mark; after a good passing move Lee Vaughan's cross from the right was headed in at the near post by Nathan Blissett, his third goal of the season.

Late in the half the teams exchanged chances, Scott Spencer blasted over the bar after Danny Lewis had parried Matthew Pearson's long-range shot and at the other end Chey Dunkley headed over from Storer's free-kick.

Blissett came close to giving Harriers the lead early in the second half his volley from Vaughan's cross tipped over the bar by Halifax's substitute keeper Phil Senior.  In response Marc Roberts skimmed the face of the crossbar with a cross-cum-shot that had Lewis beaten.

Before the game petered out into an end-of-season affair good work by Blissett on the left created a golden opportunity for Morgan-Smith but he skied his shot over the bar with the goal at his mercy.
